Cans for the Community and VNA go way back, all the way back to August 12, 2005, to be precise. On that day, Cans for the Community made their first ever donation, $500 to VNA. Since then, Cans for the Community has raised and donated more than $345,000 to local not-for-profit organizations. VNA has been fortunate to be the recipient of many donations from Cans for the Community over the years.

This amazing group often recognizes milestones in their journey with another donation to VNA, including a $1,000 donation in 2023 that took their overall donation total to $300,000. Most recently, Cans for the Community celebrated their 20th anniversary with another $1,000 donation to VNA at their celebration event on June 1st. Bo, from the recycling center, matched the donation to make it $2,000 total in support of VNA’s ability to care for patients, regardless of their ability to pay for services. Everyone at VNA is grateful for the continued support from this incredible group.
