Certified Home Health Aides and Certified Nurse Aides - part or full-time hours

The CHHA/CNA is responsible for providing competent aide services to patient/clients with a chronic illness. Care is provided in accordance with the policies of the agency and the nursing plan of care for the patient/client and the manager.

Education & Experience:

  • Graduation from high school or completion of GED preferred
  • Certified Nurse Aide or Certified Home Health Aide in good standing

Previous experience in home health, hospice or health care facility a plus

Companion - part-time hours
Do you like to clean, grocery shop, run errands and provide companionship? VNA has the job for you. We are looking for a part-time companion to do all of these things and more to help our patient/clients remain in their own homes and maintain their normal life and activities. Job duties include:

  • housekeeping tasks, assuring safety and providing minimal assistance in activities of daily living
  • patient/client care; read or write letters, play games or cards, engage in conversation, provide emotional support
  • stand-by assistance with physical activities; accompany patient/client shopping, to medical appointments or on errands
  • light household tasks such as planning and preparing meals, laundry, making bed, washing dishes, dusting, vacuuming and shopping
  • transport patient/client to appointments

PPE equipment is provided to employees as required for the position per CDC & OSHA guidelines. All staff are required to wear masks in the office except when in their office/work station. VNA is subject to the CMS vaccination mandate.

Visiting Nurses requires a criminal background check and motor vehicle (MVR) check for all employees once a conditional offer of employment has been extended by the hiring manager. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required for all positions. Mileage paid in addition to wage.
